The Problem We Solve

The Challenge

Behavior documentation takes time away from instruction. Many tracking tools were not designed for classroom environments.

  • Paper-based tracking can be slow
  • Generic software often lacks FBA-specific features
  • Some tools require significant training
  • Data may be scattered across systems
  • Report compilation for IEP meetings takes time

Our Approach

We built behavior tracking software from the perspective of a BCBA working in classrooms.

  • Quick behavior logging from any device
  • Voice data entry option
  • AI-assisted pattern identification
  • Centralized data storage
  • Report generation for meetings

How It Works

Three steps to start tracking

1

Set Up Your Classroom

Add students and configure the behaviors you want to track.

2

Track Behaviors

Log observations using tap, type, or voice entry on phone, tablet, or computer.

3

Review and Report

View collected data, identify patterns, and export reports.

Design Principles

What guided development

Behavioral Science Foundation

Features are informed by applied behavior analysis principles and FBA/BIP workflows.

Efficient Data Entry

Multiple input methods (tap, type, voice) to fit different classroom situations.

Data Privacy

Built with FERPA considerations in mind. We do not sell or share student information.

Professional Background

  • M.Ed. in Special Education, West Virginia University
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA)
  • Certified Special Education Teacher
  • Currently serving as Behavior Instructional Specialist
  • 25+ years in public special education and autism services

I have over 25 years of experience in public special education, working in self-contained classrooms and as a behavior specialist.

During that time, I observed that behavior documentation often consumed significant portions of the school day for teachers and support staff.

I built Classroom Pulse to provide a more efficient approach to FBA data collection, combining my background as a BCBA with practical classroom experience.

Our Mission

To make evidence-based behavior tracking so effortless that teachers can focus on what they do best: supporting students.

I wanted to build a tool that reflects how behavior data collection actually works in classrooms.
